All Saints Anglican and St. Martin Roman Catholic parishes share a south end neighbourhood but apart from that shared little else. This year however, at the initiative of All Saints Pastor Reverend Trish McCarthy, the two hosted a Vacation Bible School for children. “I wanted to do something and reach out to the children in the neighbourhood so I spoke to Father Gary (St. Martin Pastor) and he hooked me on to Alison (St. Martin Pastoral Assistant Alison Sander) so we evolved a plan,” said McCarthy.
