The election for the 12th Bishop of Qu'Appelle is scheduled to be held Saturday, December 8, at St. Luke's Church, Regina. There are six candidates: Rev. Canon David Fletcher, Rev. Malcolm French, Ven. Robert Hardwick, Rev. Norbert Haukenfrers, Rev. Dr. Trish McCarthy, Rev. Canon James Robinson. Rev. C. Peter Molloy has withdrawn prior to the election.
To be elected, a candidate must receive a majority (50% plus one) in both the house of clergy and the house of laity. After each ballot, the candidate with the lowest number of votes will be removed from the next ballot. Candidates may also choose to remove their names at any time.
The results will be posted on this site after each ballot.
