Bishop's Cycle Ride DAY 10

August 1, 2017 | Synod Office

July 31... Sun setting on another beautiful day. Carried all my belongings today,an extra 40lbs in weight and was surprised. Having the right bike and gearing makes an incredible difference.

First stop was Dysart where the church was full of children and leaders. The Crosstalk team are very gifted and it was great to see them work with the children so well.
After lunch the journey continued to Fort Qu'Appelle where I set up camp by the lake

then went to St John's for evening prayer and supper. A perfect end. My thanks to the Revd Warren Huestis and to all in the parish that have been so hospitable.
