11.07am: Day 7. Yesterday (July 25) was the most taxing yet. 25 k of mostly loose gravel immediately followed by 25 k into a 40+ km head wind. Both certainly tested our stamina but we made it. Quote of the day was when I said to Nigel 'stay close and I will break wind for you'. Oops.
Nevertheless it worked, Nigel completed the whole 100k journey. It was perhaps a scriptural example of 'living under the shadow of His wing'
Met in George's place in Imperial with parishioners for lunch and then went to st George's church with some of the congregation afterwards. What a beautiful town, well worth a visit. Folks from Imperial joined us in Nokomis (photo) for supper and then a spirit filled gospel jamboree. 2 hours celebration felt like 30 minutes. Rev'd Jack Robson is gifted guitarist and MC. The presence of God was evident as we worshipped and sang our hearts out in the Legion Hall
TODAY we head South down #20
