Archdeacon of St. Chad, Post Ordination Advisor, Priest

Presently a bi-vocational priest licensed as an Associate Priest in the Parish of Couteau Hills. His current responsibilities include serving as the priest of St. Andrew’s/Trinity Church in Rosetown and Holy Cross Anglican Church in Eston.

Lauren also works as a Nursing Instructor in the local regional college. His past experience includes working as a nurse in acute care nursing settings and extensive experience as a nurse clinician in community mental health. He has also worked as an employee assistance counselor, an addictions counselor, an associate pastor within a Pentecostal denomination, and as the president of Eston College (undergraduate theological education.)

He is married with four grown children and five grandchildren. His interests include Eastern and Celtic Christian traditions, philosophy, music, culture, and travel. Ordination Ordained deacon in July 2013. Ordained priest in April 2014. Education Nursing Diploma (Grant MacEwan College, Edmonton), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (University of Victoria) Master of Christian Studies (Prairie Graduate School, Calgary) Master of Education - Workplace and Adult Learning (University of Calgary) Undergraduate and graduate studies in management, administration and leadership.
