What is the Halo Project?
The Halo Project is a community outreach program founded in 2019 and based in Lumsden, Saskatchewan and area designed to impact people in our community in personal, practical ways by matching those who have a need with those who are able to give. The Halo Project is proudly supported by All Saints Anglican Church, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, St. Andrew's United Church, St. Peter's Catholic Church, Rock of the Valley Community Church and local businesses, non-profit organizations, schools and caring members of the community.
How we help
Our goal is to help people in Lumsden and area community who have short-term needs. Some examples include helping a senior meet day-to-day needs such as helping with light yard work, providing a few meals for a new mom, providing winter wear for a student in need, picking up groceries for someone unable to drive, purchasing gifts for our community Christmas hampers and delivering Christmas gifts to seniors.
How you can get involved
Volunteering - You can support the Halo Project by volunteering your time to help community members.
Monetary Donations - Your financial gifts will allow us to offer support to those in need in Lumsden and area in ways that show we care.
